Our founding inspiration
What inspired me to start The Right Choice Project was seeing how many young people in my community were growing up without enough guidance, support, or positive opportunities. I realized that a lot of kids are talented and full of potential, but they often need someone to believe in them, mentor them, and show them that they have real options for their future.
I wanted to create something that would encourage young people to make positive decisions, build confidence, and stay focused on their goals despite the challenges around them. The project was built from a genuine desire to give back to the community, create safe spaces for youth, and help them understand that their circumstances do not define their future.
What motivates me the most is seeing young people grow, become leaders, and start believing in themselves. Knowing that even one conversation, program, or opportunity can change someone’s path is what keeps me passionate about this work every day.
Dreams and goals for our youth
My biggest dream for the young people in our programs is for them to believe in themselves and realize they can achieve great things regardless of their circumstances. I want them to grow into confident, disciplined, and compassionate leaders who make positive choices and inspire others.
I hope our programs help them build life skills, pursue education or careers they’re passionate about, and develop the resilience to overcome challenges. I also want them to understand the value of giving back to their communities and becoming role models for the next generation.
Most importantly, I want every young person we serve to know that they matter, their voice matters, and their future is full of possibilities.

What makes The Right Choice Project different is our focus on building genuine relationships and creating a strong support system for young people. We do more than offer programs — we provide mentorship, guidance, life skills, and positive opportunities that help youth grow both personally and professionally.
We meet young people where they are and encourage them to believe in themselves, make positive choices, and overcome challenges. Our programs create a safe, uplifting environment where youth feel heard, valued, and supported.

Our vision for community change
I hope to see our community become stronger, safer, and more connected because of The Right Choice Project’s work. My goal is for young people to have greater access to mentorship, positive opportunities, and support systems that help them make healthy decisions and build successful futures.
I want to see more youth becoming leaders, graduating, pursuing careers or entrepreneurship, and giving back to their neighborhoods. I also hope our work helps reduce violence, hopelessness, and negative influences by showing young people that they have real options and people who believe in them.
Most importantly, I hope The Right Choice Project creates a lasting culture of empowerment, where young people feel valued, supported, and inspired to create positive change for themselves and future generations.
